What This Information Means
The results describe the public connection details presented by the current browser request to the site. To determine whether the connection matches your expectations, consider the target region, client status, and actual browsing behavior together.
- Public IP

This is the address your browser publicly shows when accessing this site. If it changes after connecting to a route, the browser’s public egress has usually changed. If it stays the same, check whether the client is connected, the system proxy is active, and the browser is using separate network settings.
- Country / Region

The location comes from geographic mapping in an IP database and does not represent the device’s actual location. Databases update at different rates, so nearby regions or newly assigned addresses may be identified differently. Access to AI Tools or Streaming services may also be affected by third-party regional policies and account status.
- ISP

The ISP field identifies the network organization associated with the public address. It can help distinguish a local network egress from a route egress, but the name may refer to a carrier, data center, or upstream network organization. It cannot determine route quality on its own.
- Proxy Detection

The proxy result is reference information returned by the on-site GeoIP API based on address classification. A database may classify shared egresses, data center addresses, or newly assigned ranges differently, so either “detected” or “not detected” is not a definitive conclusion about the connection method.

Compare Before and After Connecting
- Before connecting to a route, note the public region and the DNS resolver currently used by your system.
- After connecting to the required route, reopen the browser page to avoid old connections and cached data affecting the result.
- Use a trusted DNS testing tool to check the region associated with the resolving servers, then compare it with your current public region.
- If the resolving servers still clearly belong to your original local network, check the client’s DNS takeover settings, the system’s encrypted DNS, and the browser’s secure DNS settings.
- Reconnect after changing the settings and run the test again to confirm that the public address and resolution path match your current purpose.
